We would like to take to opportunity to wish every club member and their families a happy new year. Hope it will bring joy and happiness in your private lives and a couple of PB's and sport achievements too...

May I also take the opportunity to congratulate one of our elite cyclists PIERRE BORG who's win last Sunday at the Criterium race left everyone speechless. A true AGONIAN !

What a morning ! Perfect weather for the hardest super sprint tri we could invent ! A transition (t2) with a scenic view most triathlon races around the world would only dream of ! Thanks to all those who attended the Agones 'Al Fresco' Super Sprint Series. It's been a fast learning curve and as a club we are now ready to make the big step forward ! Tri season 2014 will be a blast !! Well done to Agones Sfc athletes Alan Borg and Elaine Fenech for winning the male and female categories !! Well done to all those who finished today ! It was a one hell of a 9km bike route !

The 2013 MMBA National Points Series came to a close this morning with round 6 being held in Mgarr on a circuit that tested everyone in every aspect. 3 Elite cyclists were all within striking distance of the top spot for the series & in the end it was Maurice Formosa that took top honours. We would like to thank all the cyclists that took part in the series and we hope to see more of you next year. As you know the race circuits & setup have had a complete makeover this year & we hope to reap the benefits of this in the years to come. Results and final overall classification available here.

Well done to all participants! You were all brilliant and most importantly you all crossed the finish line with a smile on your face.
