Charlie Cilia's ( 1st Maltese Male in the Half Marathon ) podium was just the icing on the cake last Sunday at the Malta Marathon. Well done to all the Agonian pack who finished the Half and Full Marathon. It was an amazing day to remember not only as individuals but also as club members..

Great weekend for our athletes with Patrick Scicluna winning the 40+ category and Lara Buttiegieg placing 3rd in the Female Category in the BIrkirkara St.Jospeh Individual Time Trial and Mark Bonnici by winning the mountain bike race yesterday in the Male Elite category and now leading the NPS Series after 2 races. Results for both races available in the respective race calendars..

Later on the night Patrick Scicluna (1st Overall 40+), Pierre Borg (3rd Overall Elite) and Lara Buttigieg (2nd Overall Ladies) were presented with a trophy for the success in their respective categories!

After a great turnout in last Sunday's trail running race, Pierre Borg's win and 2nd place in the female category thanks to Lara Butigieg at the pre season criterium race one might think things could hardly get better.
Well this Sunday things went even better ! Excellent team work by the Elite cycling team guided Pierre Borg to a back to back victory at the Pre-
Few kilometers away in Safi, the multi sport season kicked off with the 'Al Fresco' Agones Duathlon organized by Agones Sfc in collaboration with the Safi Local Council. One must thank Ruben Degiorgio, Mark Zammit, Caroline Zammit, Andrew Fleri Soler, Kevin Zammit and Rodianne Zammit (all club members) for the excellent organization of the event.
Well done to the great number of athletes who took part. Honored to have so many Agonians on the starting list. Special mention for Ryan Saliba another under 23 Agonian athlete who placed 3rd overall. Also happy to see our young athletes taking part in their first fun race. Thanks to their coach Vanessa Delia for her patience.
